As the assistant director for UCLA Health's Behavioral Health Network, you can oversee the business and patient care support functions for our mental healthcare services. You'll play a critical role in ensuring that practices of board-certified psychiatrists, licensed family therapists, and licensed clinical social workers are able to help care for and heal their communities.
Our offices serve patients in surrounding communities of Los Angeles, Culver City, Marina Del Rey, Venice, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica and Westwood. These locations are surrounded by many pharmacies, coffee shops, and restaurants.
The Assistant Director will be a natural communicator, capable of working collaboratively with practice managers and staff to promote quality care. You'll have a commitment to excellence in care provision through positive communication and engagement of all stakeholders.

JOB DUTIES Budgetary management Care coordination and communication Policy development and deployment
JOB QUALIFICATIONS Skill in planning, preparing and analyzing complete revenue and expenses budgets. Ability to creatively integrate competing demands and implement frequently changing procedures. Previous demonstrated expertise in managing patient services preferably in a behavioral health setting. Knowledge of medical terminology and health system registration procedures. A minimum of three years recent experience within an acute healthcare setting in a leadership or clinical role with a proven history of high performance. Substantial experience in leading, facilitating, and sustaining service redesign and improvement in a clinical setting using proven methodologies. (LEAN) Practical experience of process mapping and the use of Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles. Knowledge of computer software application including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point) Ability to travel to multiple clinics.
