Mercy College of Health Sciences, located in Des Moines, Iowa, has an immediate opening for a part-time instructor in our Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. The position will teach on a 12 month basis, approximately 20 hours/week.
Responsibilities include providing teaching, guidance and advisement to students, updating curriculum and course content, and providing feedback for enhancements to the program based on the needs of the students.
This position is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in higher education while working as a part-time sonographer in a clinical environment.

Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in a health related field; associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, appropriate sonography credential and two years' experience as a full-time sonographer. Ability to pass a drug test, TB test, and background checks are required.
