Kingwood Pines Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Patient Accounts Specialist. The Driver is responsible for operating facility vehicles in a safe, efficient, and responsible manner while transporting patients to and from the facility for scheduled treatments and appointments. The Driver is also responsible for assisting with ensuring that the vehicle is properly maintained and ready for safe use by maintaining a high level of cleanliness and by conducting regular inspections and reporting any mechanical discrepancies and/or malfunctions. Key Responsibilities Includes: - Responsible for receipt of all payments.
- Responsible for constant contact with insurance carriers for prompt and correct submission claims.
- Transmits claims via paper, electronic per appropriate billing requirements to any and all carriers.
- Maintains any specialized reports for tracking correct revenue and reimbursement
- Documents all efforts for biller and cash application purposes and outcome of those efforts correctly in accounting system.
