As an Administrative Assistant you will:
Provide administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and leadership team of the hospital.
Performs duties such as typing, filing, scheduling, financial record keeping, coordination of meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies, coordinating direct mailings, and working on special projects.
Answers non-routing correspondence and may assemble highly confidential and sensitive information.
Deals with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors, as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.
Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload and recommends changes in office practices or procedures.
As an Administrative Assistant you will have:
High School Diploma or GED required. Business school, Associate's degree or equivalent is a plus.
Three (3) - four (4) years of related experience preferred.
Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet.
Must be able to type 40- 45 wpm.
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Additional languages preferred.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
A professional appearance and telephone manner is essential.
Ability to transcribe from electronic means and operate office equipment.
