The mission of Okaloosa Youth Academy is to increase public safety by reducing juvenile delinquency in Florida through effective prevention, intervention and treatment services that strengthen families and turn around the lives of troubled youth.
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse, full time. This is a day position which works three 12-hour shifts and one four hour shift (every other weekend is required). The RN is the primary care coordinator for the interdisciplinary team. Accountable for the implementation of a collaborative care plan as proscribed by the physician(s) and treatment team. Provides leadership in maintaining standards for professional Nursing practice in the clinical setting. Provides medical management and assessment of patients. Ensures environmental safety. Works with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu.
