| The Hudson Valley, NY Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, with campuses in Castle Point and Montrose, and located in the scenic lower Hudson River Valley of New York, is recruiting a full-time Pain Specialist/Physiatrist. Candidates with board certification/eligibility in PM&R and Pain Management and pain fellowship training preferred. Assistance with payment of outstanding medical education loans available!! Clinical duties include medical and interventional approaches to pain management. You will lead an established pain management program. The ability to perform interventional procedures and knowledge of complementary & alternative medicine is a plus. You may provide outpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation evaluations, EMGs and other specialty clinics. Administrative duties include chairing the Pain Management Committee, monitoring facility compliance and education of patients and staff. You will support the interdisciplinary Pain Management team (NP and RN) and participate in all rehabilitation service activities, including quality improvement and strategic planning.
